This
page is for those who want the instruction to fold a traditional origami baby swan (cygnet).
This origami baby swan is even more easier to fold compared to the traditional origami swan. This origami swan is based on so-called "kite base".
If you know what valley-fold and mountain-fold are, then you will have no problem in folding this model.
If you are ready, then let's get started.

You may use any kind of paper to fold the
origami swan. It is a little easier if the front and the back side of the paper are
slightly different whether it be in texture or color.
Make sure the paper
that you use is a square(all sides are equal and all the angles
equal 90 degrees). The original paper I am using here is 20cm x 20cm square one. But you will only need 1/4 of this so that the final size will be 10cm x 10cm.

This is the front side of paper.
If would be nice to have a white color one.
But it is extremely difficult to see the paper under white background.
So I use a black paper instead to make a black swan.

This is the back side of paper.
Keep in your mind that the front side is the shinier one.
