The origami star box is similar to the classic star box but with smaller base and taller in height and it is also based on square base. This star box can be used for a gift box for any special occasion. Making hundreds of them is not a problem since it is fairly easy to fold.

You may use any kind of paper to fold the
origami star box. It is a little easier if the front and the back side of the paper are
slightly different whether it be in texture or color.
Make sure the paper
that you use is a square(all sides are equal and all the angles
equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is 20cm x 20cm square one. It is somewhat larger than a regular origami paper but it is good to deal with a larger paper initially and then gradually decrease the paper size as you become more familiar with it.
