17. Apply the "outside reverse-fold" of the step #16.   Prepare to open the paper.

18. Open the paper.   The final crease pattern (CP) is shown on the left.   Since the paper has all the creases that you need, you only need to make a crease into either valley-folded or mountain-folded one according to the CP.
