Here you will learn how to make a simple origami heart.

It hase a simple crease pattern which is shown below.

1. Prepare to apply a horizontal valley-fold and then unfold.

2. Prepare to cut the paper in half and let's concentrate on the upper half.

3. Prepare to apply a vertical valley-fold and then unfold.

4. Prepare to apply two valley-folds at the bottom left and right corners.

5. Prepare to apply two diagonal valley-folds.

6. Prepare to rotate the model by 180°.

7. Prepare to turn the model over.

8. Prepare to apply a horizontal valley-fold and then unfold.

9. Prepare to apply a petal-fold.

You might feel that it is different from the generic petal-fold from a sqaure base. It is because we are applying a petal-fold on a different base here.

10. Prepare to rotate the model by 180°.

11. Prepare to apply two mountain-folds.

12. Prepare to apply another two mountain-folds.

Here you could apply two inside reverse-folds instead.
