How to make origami turtles

 

 

You can learn to make three kinds of origami turtle here.
The first one is easy traditional turtle which is the easiest one to fold. And the next one is classic model of turtle which has been very popular.
The last one is the turtle designed by me and this one is also easy to fold.

This easy traditional paper turtle might be one of the easiest turtle you could make.

The turtle is based on so-called "balloon base". However, you need to apply "gate fold" and "cushion fold" before making "balloon base". One advanced folding technique that you will learn from this origami turtle is "expansion fold".

You will be applying both horizontal and vertical Z-folds initially. Then a crease pattern will be applied to make a turtle structure. It will take 24 steps to completed this origami turtle.
